This is our story
Friends of Doctors Without Borders, also known a Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), at Pitt was started by a group of Pitt undergraduate students determined to bring the work that Doctors Without Borders was doing to campus. Our hope is to shed light on the work Doctors Without Borders is doing across the globe, educate students on the humanitarian crises people face, and help to embody the values of MSF here at Pitt. As a student chapter we host bi-weekly meeting discussing current issues and MSF Projects, work to secure volunteering opportunities across Pittsburgh, fund-raise for MSF and host numerous events. Although the name states that MSF is an organization of Doctors Without Borders the truth is anyone can help make a difference in the lives of others. Whether student, faculty, medical personal, or just interested civilian there is something you can do to help.
